Hi-
I was watching Dr. Phil the other (which I never do, as I don't care for him! lol!) and a commercial came on for Virginia Mason Medical Center (the Federal Way branch is where I happened to be diagnosed by a nurse practitioner, after being misdiagnosed for several months) and there was a Dr. speaking about a device that helps regulate the heartbeat. There was an African American gal pushing her son on a swing and she was talking about how she was diagnosed with "Post-partum Dilated Cardiomyopathy" after her son was born. She went on to praise VM and the Doc spoke a little about this device. I was SO shocked and excited to hear PPCM mentioned that I totally didn't absorb ANY of the info.. Keep a look out if you're in the area and if you're not please pass this information along to others the let them know that people are STARTING to be aware and speak of it! I think this is SO encouraging!
Those of you I don't get to keep in contact with regularly since I don't frequent the message boards anymore, please know that you're always in my thoughts and heart!
I tried looking at VM's website for PSA's but couldn't find it...
