Dr. Fett the Cardiologist I seen today didn't explain what roll Pottasium and Magnesium plays in PVC's or the care of the Heart could you explain some(I looked online but couldn't find any info)..I have a PVC every 14-21 beats unless I am doing something or in the heat then it's every 5-10 beats..Can the heat and humidty cause PVC's?
My Echo was still at 60%, pulse and BP was good the only problem was the PVC's today..

Great news, Tina, about your EF. Extra beats and PVC's/PAC's are very common in the normal heart, and with an EF of 60 per cent, I think it may just be a "variant of normal". In the presence of digitalis toxicity, PVC's may be common, and low potassium may also contribute to irritability of the heart muscle, with electrical irritability reflected in PVC's, so there are some situations where they need to be paid attention to. Only your cardiologist knows all your test results, so is the best one to interpret them to you. Best to you.
