Since two weeks I am following a diet. The diet is based on point systeem (like Weight Watchers). It is important to keep eating healthy and enough. You will lose weight slowly. For me this works, especially because it also advises in exercises. I already lost 5 lbs.
My question is can weight loss effect your INR? My INR is too low (since two weeks) after a long stable period. I know in weight loss the first thing is losing water, can this change your INR?

I would defer to Dr. Fett as I am not a good person to ask about this. I will read up on it in the morning and see if I can find anything out on it.

Yes, diet can make a difference in INR, so it bears looking at more closely until stability and desirable levels are reached. One reason is that part of the coagulation mechanism involves Vitamin K, and that comes in variable portions in the diet. Also, of course, new medications can affect INR, including a course of antibiotics.
