Pills and vomitting

This morning, five minutes after I took my pills, I started coughing and gave u a part of my breakfast. I wonder what happend to my pills, I took them just before. I decided to do nothing, because I didn't see them in my vomit. Would my pills already have been absorbed by my body?

Not sure. It depends on how long they have been in there. Ususally it takes 30 min for regular pills and longer for extended release pills. My doc told me and I always was instructed to tell my patients not to readminister their meds if this happens. I would NOT retake my pills and just continue on from this point. I hope you feel better. That must have been a big cough!

This happens to me all the time. I think I posted before about what a prolific puker I am.
I never retake my pills. I don't know what the wiggle room is before you end up with an overdose, so it's best just not to chance it. Even when I see parts of pills coming up, you just NEVER know.
