Candida and Myocarditis

Dr. Fett, I was reading about systemic candida infections being associated with myocarditis. Has this ever been associated with PPCM that you know of?

No reports of that. Systemic candida (fungal) infection would be associated with severe immune deficiency and chronic disease. I don't know of any reports that it can independently be related to dilated cardiomyopathies and for sure, not PPCM.
