Do you think possibly that because of my Wolff Parkinson White syndrome that I did not know I had could have been the cause of my PPCM? Was that too much on the heart? When I went into labor, they discovered WPW and PPCM. :confused:

No, I don't think so. The WPW may cause an arrhythmia, but it should not cause a dilated cardiomyopathy. However, your cardiologists can sort that out since they have all the available data.

I live in Northern California and the Dr.'s do not have any information. All I do know is they get very excited when I do tell them I had WPW and want to know everything that happened in my past. Probably because it's rare but my Cardiologists that I have had do not have very much information. This website and forum has more information than anything out there. Sad! :confused:
