Hello everyone! And congrats to the new preggos!!! I am so excited for you all!

I am officially 33 weeks today. I started my biweekly non-stress tests due to my type 2 diabetes last Tuesday, and they have been absolutely fine. This pregnancy is so different than my last.

I saw my cardiologist this past Tuesday with an ECHO, and no changes. I am still 45-50%, but my palpitations have decreased. I have been seeing him monthly, and he said that the next time he sees me will be when I am in the hospital having this baby. I saw my OB on Wednesday, and she said that the earliest for my C-section will be week 36, but she will absolutely will not let me go past 38 weeks. At my last ultrasound, the baby was weighing in at 3 pounds 5 ounces (May 18). When Kyla was born a little over 2 years ago, she was 4 pounds 8 ounces at 34 weeks.

I feel great! At this stage of my last pregnancy, I was already put on bed rest due to my blood pressure. Today my BP was 95/65 (sleeping, as my hubby would call it), but they also have me on Toprol XL 2x a day to control my pressures.

I was although concerned about my baby's heartrate during my non-stress test on Tuesday. I saw it occasionally dip at 111-113 for not even a second before going back up to the 120s. The nurse said because I was on digoxin, that could be my baby's baseline. Has anyone else heard of that? He normally runs in the upper 120s-130s. When I checked with my OB on Wednesday, she said that was okay, as long as it didn't linger around there.

I believe I am also experiencing a few Braxton-Hicks too. Nothing frequently, just a little firmness every now and then.

And that's about it! I hope everyone is doing well also!

Congratulations Gerie,
It sounds like you are doing amazingly well! That baby will be here before you know it! What a blessing!

Glad to hear you are doing well! You are coming into the home stretch now!

I don't know much about the baby's HR and the beta blocker, I am on Toprol too but a really low dose (37.5 mg once a day) and his HR is always in the 140s... I'm sure as long as they are monitoring everything you are just fine!
