Dr. Fett,
For the last two days (nights) I've been waking up with sharp stabbing pains in my chest. They are occuring more and more frequently during the day as well. Evening seems to be worse and I am swelling even though I'm being very careful about my sodium. I know the general rule is too go to the ER with chest pains, every time I go, they do an ekg and blood work and call my cardiologist. My question I guess is, are these pains linked to my constant pvc's or do my meds need adjusting again. (The pains are like I was having before i started meds). I see my cardio on Wednesday but wanted to know if maybe I'm overlooking something simple that I can fix at home?

Chest pain makes me nervous and I just know that I can't treat it from afar or over the internet; so give it the attention it deserves and don't worry about being a nuisance to your doctors and health care system. I want you to receive the right evaluation, the right diagnosis, the right treatment, and full recovery.

I hope you are ok! Please keep us posted!
Go to the ER...it is better to be safe than sorry.

Dr. Fett and gals,

I went to the ER today due to more pains and not feeling very good. Everything checked out ok. I'm following up with my cardiologist on Wednesday. They said it's more than likely related to my pvc's because they are way worse at night. So we'll figure it out soon I'm sure. I'm just feeling really exhausted right now. I do have the next week off from work so that will be nice to rejuvenate:) .
Thanks for all your support, The girls and I are having a rough time of it right now with Christmas and missing their dad. It's been 4 months today since he passed away. Your kind thoughts and words of encouragement are very comforting.
God bless and Merry Christmas
