This is the only place I have found for PPCM..I was so scared when I became pregnant again but my Cardiologist isn't to concerned since my heart went back to normal very quick..
He sees all the PPCM patients in the area and he told me he wouldn't agree to another child unless he seen very fast inprovment..My OB was/is scared out of her mind, she is so afraid I will have to deliver in ICU..
I also see a Perinatolgist and he isn't to concerned with the out come since I am doing great..

I will be 12 wks Wed. and I can still wear shoes, that is an inprovment for me.
Lots better than gaining 17 pounds in a week..

Thanks for the warm welcome..
Right now I am having a blast chasing a Crawling 9 month old..

Hi Tina- welcome! Your recovery is very encouraging!! I am about 14 wks pregnant and nervous - we'll have to keep each other company. I'm SO glad you've have sought out the specialists you have- where do you live? I'm in Boston where there are oodles of great docs. It is very reassuring. Look forward to talking with you- Julie

The Suprising thing is I live in South Carolina, you wouldn't think there would be great Doctors down here but some are..
I have to drive 40+ miles to my doctors but it really worth it.
During my miscarriages I was going to stupid Dr's that never checked my Progesterone level and when Nicholas was concieved that's the first thing the Dr did (I was put on Supplements) and that what she believes casued my Miscarriages..
My Cardiologist has helped in a few Heart transplants and graduated from Duke..

How often are you seeing your OB?
I go every three weeks for now, at 20 wks every two weeks, at 33 I go once to twice a week and have NST's at 33 wks..
