I was looking at the post today regarding the shirt Macy's is selling - the mother and child with the heart. I think we should jump on a letter writing campaign to Mira Sorvino - clearly since having a daughter herself she is interested in this issue. And, as a tinsel town persona perhaps she could advance our cause. So... are you all interested? And, if so, is anyone within "six degrees separation" from the actress? If that's not an option we can find her publicists name/address and get our messages to her that way. Let me know...

I noticed that the Go Red campaign with Mira Sorvino is through the American Heart Association. I have been doing volunteer work with them (speaking about ppcm, sharing my story, etc.) and will see if I can get a contact person for Mira Sorvino. It will take me a few days, but I'll let you know. Also, the last time I wanted to contact someone about ppcm (Good Housekeeping Magazine), I looked up their number on qwestdex.org and called and they actually called me back! Maybe we could call Macy's (718-875-7200) and ask to speak to whoever is in charge of Go Red? What do you think?

Hi!

I talked with the rep at American Heart Association and she told me that Mira Sorvino and Toni Braxton are both really involved with women and heart health. She is going to try and get contact info. for both of them! I'll let you know when I hear more!

Also, I am speaking at a luncheon with the Utah governor's wife on Tuesday May 17th regarding women and heart health! Jennifer at AHA set it up for me. I can't believe how much AHA has helped with getting the word out. They are also putting my story on the national website sometime soon! If you are really wanting to get involved and get the word out join up with your local AHA! They have really helped me!
