I've stayed in touch with one of the organizers, and hope to plan an event coinciding with their walk next year. Start the wheels turning on how we can all get together to show our support in Rochester next year!!

Wow, what a beautiful girl she was. It makes me so sad and angry that she had to die because of this disease. Is the picture of the little girl her little girl, Hannah? It's a little short notice for this year, but I would love to get together for something like this in the future if I can find someone to come w/me and drive (I'm too much of a scaredy cat to drive to far away places by myself :o because I get lost very easily).

Yes, that's Hannah.

She found out 5 weeks after delivery that what was wrong with her was PPCM. She died ON HER WAY to getting a heart transplant. A donor heart was found, and she couldn't be airlifted due to bad weather - and had to be taken in an ambulance. She died on the way....

The whole story is so sad because it maybe didn't have to happen that way....
