Stomach Flu

Well, my vacation in Florida has been a disaster! First my daughter, then the baby, now myself and my husband all have had a bout of the stomach flu. I haven't taken my meds since Sunday morning----I just couldn't keep anything down. I am so weak and dizzy, SOB and my BP is 90/60 with a heart rate of 96 at rest (high heart rate for me). Am I doing the worng thing by not taking the meds? Should I start them again? I think I can keep them down now, but I am worried that my BP is too low already. Also, I stopped them abruptly, can I start them up just as I had been taking them?

Yes, you should take your meds, and you can start them at same dosage. You may be a bit dehydrated, so you need to work on fluids, and if you can't keep them down you should go to the ER or whatever medical ambulatory care setting you have. You may need to do that in any case. Don't depend on advice from afar. Hope you are soon better.
