I was just reading on another post that you also had ovarian cycsts rupture. How did your gall bladder pain (if you had any) differ from when you had the pain from the cysts? I always wonder how people can distinguish the pain of one thing from another.

Hey.
The pain from the gallbladder was almost nothing. Comparatively, anyway. I felt sore all over, like joing pain, and chills. Every now and then I had a sharp stabbing pain in my right side. But it would go away quickly, and when it was gone, it was gone...no "pain memory" or radiating. Just poof.

With the ovarian cysts that ruptured, I had very sharp pains in my side that radiated down into my legs and across my midsection. I felt nauseated from the pain, and actually got pretty dizzy from it. There were times I've felt this and the cysts had not ruptured, but were just very large and were helped with medication...but not often. Usually I didn't even feel the cysts and they were found when an US was done because of missed periods.

Given the choice, I'd have my gallbladder removed every Wednesday from now until I'm a very old woman before I'd go through another ruptured ovarian cyst.

I wouldn't worry about having one you're not aware of. When you feel that pain, you WILL seek help.

My pain (I don't know if you would really call it pain yet) or maybe I should say discomfort is like bad bloating and almost a gassy feeling in the low abdomen area. So, maybe it isn't a cyst again. Maybe I just got something else going on. It's definitely not worth going in for though, yet, anyway.

Oh, I don't know about that. If your body doesn't feel right, have it checked. It doesn't have to be pain to be something that needs attention, I've learned.
