Is there different types of EP studies for the heart? My aunt has had many problems with her heart also with the irregular beats and heart racing etc. She recently had an EP study done (I think that's what she had). It seemed a little different than mine that I had a few years ago. Some of the words that came up when I was talking to her after the procedure were 2-0 suture, collagen sponge, anchor/femoral artery and angio-seal (vascular closure device). She had to carry this card around with her for 90 days that I never had to do and she had something that was suppose to dissolve after so many days?? I told her I would find more out for her and why some things were different than when I went for my EP study. Thanks in advance!
