Dr Fett- Tricyclic antidepressants

Dr Fett,
Do you know of any concerns with the tricyclic antidepressants in individuals with PPCM/DCM? I have been on a low dose for a long time (for migraines) and went off for a short time. My blood pressure and pulse both dropped significantly. My migraines are SO much worse now that I am not on the antidepressant but I am desperate so I may start taking it again. Any information?

Hi, Mindy, I'm not aware of any problems but I also have no experience with any PPCM patient being on tricyclics. I think your best info would come from your pharmacist and your cardiologist.
