Does anyone know if heart meds (Coreg and Accupril) can end up causing stomach problems after a period of time? I know someone who was on some heavy duty painkillers and just had some kind of surgery to his stomach. I've been having problems with my stomach over the past 6 months now and just wonder if the meds could possibly be causing this to happen. I had a pelvic ultrasound back in November and they found fluid and said I may have had a cyst that ruptured. It's hard to tell because it could be so many different things. And, quite frankly, I'm not sure that I fully trust the doctors up here anymore.

Hi. I had major stomach problems when I started my meds. Digestive enzymes help me a lot. I don't know if they are for everyone. What are the problems? The meds are hard but stress can really be hard on the tummy too. I am 6 months out but for the first few months I was terribly ill. Hope this helps. Again, praying lots for folks here tonight. I had some bad stomach problems that the doctors believed to be Crohn's Disease.
Altered diet has helped me alot (which means it probably wasn't Crohn's anyway). Make sure you're getting enough fiber. It's the great regulator no matter which way you need regulating. And watch the sugar and processed foods. Good advice for anybody, even if it doesn't help what's going on with your tummy.
Good luck.

I had a lot of problems with my stomach and it turned out it was my gall bladder - I finally had a gall bladder attack last May so they took it out. I was told that after having a baby gall bladder problems are common - these little angels really do do a job on our bodies :)

I have tons of stomache problems I actually was in the ER a fewmonths back because I had such excrutiating pain, the told me it was my appendix cause it is blocked the the other doc told me it wasn't it was my gall bladder, but they never gave me an US and the a tihird doc told me I could have passed a kidney stone, because I do have a few.
I personally still have no clue, I knock on wood, haven't had an attack like that recently so I am jsut waiting on pursuing it.
