Increase of ACE in hospital next week

I just made an appointment to increase my ACE-inhibitor next week. I have to do in hospital and stay a couple of hours. Now I'm only using a tiny dosage of Ramipril (2,5 mg) and it will be doubled. Every time after my Coreg increase I had problems for weeks with heartfailure-like symptoms. I really needed time to adjust and after that I felt better.
Can I expect something similar of the Ramipril increase? Does people have experiences with this?

Does the guideline say to titrate the beta-blocker and the ACE-inhibitor as high as one can stand?

I was immediately put on 10 mg of lisinopril and they never raised it. I know that my medicines really wiped me out at the beginning, but I'm not sure what was caused by the ACE. Sorry I can't be of more help!
