Hey all,
Sorry I haven't been around much, it's been very busy around here with a 3 month old and 3 year-old. I had my 3 month post-partum appointment and my cardiologist is convinced that I have sucessfully made it through this pregnancy without a re-occurance. He doesn't want to see me again unless I have troublesome symptoms. He kept me on 50mg's of Toprol as he said that there have been no long term studies on cardiomyopathy that has resolved itself and medication - so, he wants to keep me on it to be on the safe side.
I'll keep a close eye on my body over the next 2 - 3 months. I know that PPCM can occur up to 6 month post=partum.
Just thought I'd let you guys all know - for those that are pregnant and those that are considering another pregancy....it IS possible!!!!
Take care,
Kari
