Does Lasix give you energy?

I swear I cleaned the house in like ten minutes. The only new thing I took was my Lasix, It made me all jittery and high. My husband was like OH MY? I felt like I was on speed, anyone else get this way?

Just the opposite.....I feel wiped out, exhausted on the days that I do take my lasix. It does go away in a matter of hours (usually 6).

Strange....I don't know what that was all about then. My body reacts strangly to meds, I think. Before my dx, I had tried to take Nyquil a few times and it always kept me awake and wired. I could never find a nightime cold medicine that made me sleepy.

No clue about the energy thing, but having fluid off of you will make you feel better. I meant to tell you in your other post on lasix that my skin got really dry and now my hair is. I started using Aloe soap from a health food store and it solved the problem. Lotion alone would not work...good lotion, too. Just to let you know in case you get dry skin. Hope all is well. Alison

I've gotten really bad dry skin on the lasix as well. I used to have precisely the opposite problem. What's the name of the lotion you found that works? I've got about 100 partially used bottles under my sink because nothing works!
