Could you please read under Baby Rose's heart under the general topics and give me your opinion. Also I was told she has a midline malformation and that other things could be wrong. She has neuro problems. What else should be checked? Should she have an echo and can I insist on one? Our GP said he wants her to see a genetics doc. I know all of this is not your area but, anything you know will be greatly appreciated.

I'm trying to put together the pieces. Baby Rose had a bowel obstruction and required surgery? The problem was a malrotated bowel? She is doing well now? That's the most important. So far as PPCM is concerned, the baby's heart always seems to be protected, no problem whatsoever. That may not be the case with familial dilated cardiomyopathy, which is sometimes mistakenly called PPCM. I don't know very much at all about a "midline" malformation, so I don't know if the heart is affected in that. Your pediatric specialists will need to supply the answers, and I hope and pray everything continues to go well.

That was the main thing would PPCM cause her problems. They are going to get genetics down here to put together the puzzle. Thanks
