Over The Counter Water Pills

I got some over the counter water pills do you ladies think they would be ok.They're herbal.

I don't know specifically what you bought and it may be fine, but the more I learn about herbal supplements and how they interact with regular meds, the more I ((((((((((((shudder))))))))))) at what people can be taking. If taken alone, it probably won't hurt....but a lot of these supplements interfere with other Rx meds and some do so at a dangerous level. I would check with your Dr. first.

I would say NO until you have spoken with your cardiologist. These are non regulated meds that are not FDA approved. Dangerous to say the least especially with the meds we take for BP and CHF and other stuff. NO!! Talk with your MD first.

Yipes. When I think of the amount of unsafe stuff floating around that IS FDA regulated, anything not regulated scares me. If it were me personally, I would avoid the herbal stuff.
