It's amazing.. now instead of talking about termination we're talking about delivery. My worst problem right now is my reflux is out of control but we're dealing with that. The plan right now is to stay the course until I can't take it anymore. My cardiologist was pretty adamant that I not go through labor and a controlled c section has a lot of advantages so I think we're going to go that route, especially since both of them can be there. My OB actually mentioned scheduling it at 39 weeks.. now THAT'S amusing! We'll see what happens.

We ordered a crib bedding set. We're officially having a baby now. :)

I'm so glad that things seem to be going well for you. I know that it had to have broken your heart to hear people trying to convince you to terminate. This baby will know that you fought for it and how much you love it. I really am happy to hear that the dr. is coming around to your way of thinking.

Laura,

I hear ya girlfriend on the acid reflux! I'm having a *TERRIBLE* time with that myself! The best medicine I've found is: Cherry Flavored <GAVISCON> I think myself alone has pushed that stock up!!!!!! I've heard if you have bad acid reflux during your pregnancy then your child will come out with a full head of hair. I'll let you know if that's true next Wednesday.

I'm glad the doctors are taking good care of you!

That's great news, it wont be long now, time is marching on. Did you have a natural birth first time around? I had a C-Section and it isn't so bad. Becuause it's been so long since I had my son (7 1/2 years) and we hadn't planned on another we have to start from scratch and buy everything. You wouldn't think something so small could cost so much money.

It's amazing to think our babies are due within a day of one another.

I had a c section. My twins were transverse most of the pregnancy and turned breech towards the end. I felt so much better AFTER delivery than I did before that the c section was totally such a non issue. Part of me was hoping to experience a vaginal delivery but that's stupid because it certainly doesn't make you less of a mother if you have a c section! There's about a million reasons why c section would be better for me, namely that my OB will do it and my cardiologist will be in attendance.
