Dr. Fett ~ night sweats?

As you've probably read, I had a transplant 2 1/2 months ago. About a week ago, I started having night sweats (no, I'm not going through menopause!). I did go to see my CT surgeon today at clinic and she's worried ~ ordered a bunch of bloodwork and a chest x-ray. Have any insight as to what would be causing this? And why would this be so worrisome? I haven't had any rejection episodes ~ in fact, she just decreased my Prednisone dosage (waHOO!).

I think it would be important to take your temperature at various times of the day and night and see if the night sweats are associated with any fever. If there is fever one must search for a site of infection. Obviously you are under close medical supervision so I am sure you'll be OK. Best wishes,

Thanks! I'll start doing that and see if I notice anything. I'll let you know what they find out with the bloodwork too.
