Hey all,

Everything's fine...my OB did and internal said they baby is still up a bit and I'm 2 centimeters dialated. I lost my mucus plug last friday. I'm having really bad backaches and cramps today...after that internal....OUCH!!!!!

I see my PERI tomorrow, he said he'd *think* about doing an amnio to see if the baby's lungs are developed.

The heart is great, no swelling or shortness of breath, perfect blood pressure and pulse. Geez, I remember my feet looked like blimps at 35 weeks with my first pregnancy.

I'll fill you guys in tomorrow after the PERI appointment.

Love,
Kari

(Anyone know how long it takes for your water to break at 2 centimeters? Just curious, probably impossible to know, huh?)

My sister walked around at 4 cm dialated for 3 weeks before her water broke LOL.. I'd just sit tight and enjoy your time with only one.

sounds like a great appointment! I simply cannot believe it's been 35 weeks already! Wasn't it just last month you told us you thought you might be pregnant???

Why doesn't it ever go by that fast to the pregnant lady?

LOL Serena,

It goes really fast until the last 6 weeks then it makes up for the all the 7 months prior....Now, I feel like I've been pregnant for 2 years!!!!!

Is it a lot harder carrying boys than girls or could it be the first seems easier than the second???....I don't know, having a tough time emotionally with this little bugger!

Great news!!!!

Every baby is differant some want to come out some don't and have to be Evicted. Are you Efaced any? That tells you a lot ask the Peri to measure your Cervix by Ultrasound.
With Nicholas I went from not dialated to my water breaking in 10 hours, with Jonathan I was 5-6 CM and they had to break my water. I walked around for 2 wks 1-2cm Dialated.

I had both boys but the second was harder than the first, one reason is you have a child to care for and really cna't do Princess duty like the first time.>LOL

It sounds like your dr swept your membranes durning that exam.
I walked around for about a week at 4cm with Mikayla and they broke my water when I was 9cm and in full labor. (Couldn't tell which side of her face was presenting and had to find out)
I dunno about Carl since I have never had an exam done prior to going into labor with him.

They had to break my water with all three of mine. As far as the mucus plug, I didn't lose it until I was just hours from pushing.

That is too funny I was the opposite.. My second was SO MUCH easier than my frist and I just figured it was because he was a boy, LOL! I threw up almost everyday with Mikey but the pregnancy itself was a lot easier and my hair looked great.. My skin even cleared up... with belle I looked like a monster and I gained so much more weight..
