I was just curious.........how long does it take for your hormones to get back to normal after having a baby? I had Christopher in December and seems like my hormones are still out of whack some. I get some night sweats...morning sweats and now my periods are horrible! Again, sorry if I posted in the wrong spot, but curious!

My daughter is now 13 months and my hormones are still out of wack and I suffer from severe mommy brain. I have been told from veteran mothers that it is never the same! - But you have to admit it sure is worth it! Julievid

Some of those symptoms are pre-menepausal. I get those too and I am 40. You can get these according to my doc up to 10 yrs before the "big change". Don't take any OTC soy products or Hot Flash stuff without talking to your doctor.

I hope you feel better soon! I would love to know when my hormones will be "normal" again (my husband would too!). I had my daughter 13 months a go and I don't think they are right yet. I talked to my OB and discussed antidepressants . Talk to your doctors and see if they can help because it is hard enough being a mom with ppcm! Take care of yourself!!
love margie
