2 years ago today!!

I was taken to the hospital after having had sudden cardiac death. I am so grateful I didn't have any brain damage due to my heart stopping; thanks to my husband and parents performing CPR right away. Though I had a stroke 4 days later. But my daughter is turning 5 and my son is 2 1/2 and I've been able to be right here for them!. I feel pretty good most of the time, but around my period. And finally my heart is not a concern most of the time, thanks to paxil and my ICD. My EF is around 50% and my heart's size and shape is normal. So I guess I can't really complain. In fact I am grateful that things turned out the way they did, and I am 100% sure I am a better person because of it all.

WOW....an EF at 50% after all that! Good for you...I'm so glad you're around to experience life with your kids and amazing family.

Good for you, I understand what you mean about being a better person for it...everything happens for a reason.

Happy re-birthday, Delores, my SCD sister! Did you go out to celebrate? We still go out every night on the anniversary. It's become a major celebration in our family.
