I'm very NOT pregnant now, but when I was diagnosed, I was 23ish weeks. The doctor put me on Digozin, Hydralazine, and Lovenox.
And by the way - I just read your other post. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!
This has to be the best Easter for you yet, I'm sure. I remember one of your posts not too long ago saying you were praying for something to happen one way or the other to make the decision easier. What a smart prayer. Sounds like it may have been answered!

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and I take 200 mg Toprol XL and .25 of lanoxin. I have been on both of these for over two years. I was told I would have to stop taking them a week before my c-section, and as soon as I have the baby I could go back on them. I guess while I'm pregnant the baby can handle the meds, but they should be out of my system and his before he is born.

Hi,
I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been on Lopressor since 14 weeks.
My Cardiologist plans on keeping me on this medication until at least 6 months post pardum just as a precaution.

Hello! I am 24 weeks pregnant, and I am on the exact same cardiac meds as Stacia. They doubled my Toprol XL to 200mg because they took me off my ACE inhibitor (Lisinopril) due to the pregnancy. I used to be on Aldactone as well prior to finding out that I was pregnant, but not anymore. I am also on Glucophage 1500mg/day for my diabetes type II.

I recently found out that I was pregnant and was advised to stop taking the glucophage. Are there side affects?

I'm on relatively low doses, but was pre-pg also, my doc has not felt the need to increase them since my echos have been fine:
Toprol XL 25 mg once a day
Hydralazine 25 mg 3x a day
Imdur 60 mg once a day
The latter two replaced the Lisinopril that I was on prior to pg, and are for keeping my BP down.
