Question for any Dr. or nurse

I just had a pulmunary vein isolation done about a week and 1/2 ago. The incisions are on both sides of my legs in the groin area. The left side had a smaller incision and has alsready had the scab (for lack of a better word) fall off. The right side was a larger incicion and is still healing. The right side also had bruising whereas the left did not. The right side had become sore below (almost mid inner thigh), but only when I move-kinda like the muscle part is sore. Since blood clots are a concern I am a ton of blood thinners. Is this new soreness a concern or is it normal in the healing process?

I am sure you are just really sore. I would however call the surgeon's office. They will be better able to explain what is normal for this procedure. I wish I could be more helpful to you.

I spoke with the surgeron's nurse and she thinks I pulled or strained the muscle by picking up too much too soon! UGH!:mad:
