Is there a scheduled chat?

I can add a chat if anyone's interested. Just talk amongst yourselves and let me know when works best.

I'd be interested if anyone else is. How do you use the buddy list? I added people to it, but haven't figured out how to use it. Can you use it just like you would msn messenger? I can see who is online, but don't know how to send an instant message.

i dont know how to use it either, It would be great if we could all just talk? wouldn't it?

The buddy list here allows you to keep the list up when you've exited the message board. It's beneficial for watching for someone to sign on while you're working on other tasks on your desktop. You can't "IM" with it.

I can add a chat room, but would prefer to do it on certain specific occasions instead of leaving it open all of the time because of human nature. If chat is available, people will use it. Which means that questions won't get asked on the message board for us to all benefit from.
I strongly encourage you to all sign up for an instant messenger, if you haven't already, and exchange userIDs. AIM allows you to invite all of your buddies into a "chat room," as well. I'm not familiar with the other programs, but my hunch is they're all pretty much the same.
